The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) and Scopus Training and Consultancy signed a two-year capacity-building agreement on October 25, 2025. The partnership focuses on implementing the "Tenaye Bebiroye" ("My Health in My Office") initiative across the bank's operations.

The initiative, patented by the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Authority to Assistant Professor Kalegziabher Lukas and Dr. Binyam Gintamo, is designed to tackle Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) stemming from sedentary office lifestyles. The program integrates tailored physical activities, ergonomic adjustments, and health education directly into the workplace.

The rollout will begin with pilot branches in Addis Ababa before a nationwide expansion. Scopus will train CBE's internal teams and monitor the program's implementation over the duration of the agreement.
